Snapper Rock began in 2003 when we moved from New Zealand to one of America’s great sailing capitals - Annapolis, and saw the need for fun, fresh and functional, protective gear for kids on the water. Snapper Rock was launched for the junior sailing market, and it didn't take long before we expanded our sun protection range for children 0-16 years.
In 2016 we extended into our adults range of matching Dad prints, and timeless silhouettes for Women.
In 2020 as part of our journey to reduce our environmental impact, we launched our Sustainable Swimwear Collection using fully recycled materials. We recognise that we have a responsibility to look after our planet, so that our children can enjoy the beautiful beaches and oceans we have all come to love and enjoy. This journey will continue.
